Än blommar det - pressa egna sommarblommor
Har du upptäckt sommarens sköna blommor? De blommar ett tag, sedan vissnar de ner. De lämnar då plats åt nya blommor av samma art eller så tar nya arter vid. Detta pågår hela sommaren och med en enkel växtpress kan du ta tillvara lite av blomningen.
Gör så här:
- Klipp ut två bitar kartong i önskad storlek.
- Klipp två ark av vanligt skrivpapper i samma storlek.
- Plocka blommor och växter som du vill pressa.
- Placera en kartongbit underst, därefter ena skrivpappret och sedan dina blommor.
- Lägg andra skrivpappret försiktigt över växterna och därefter andra kartongbiten.
- Spänn ihop delarna med två gummiband och lägg gärna något tungt över.
- Vänta någon vecka på att det ska torka.
Tänk på naturen när du plockar växter:
- Tag alltid reda på om du får plocka växter – är du osäker, fråga någon som vet. Allemansrätten berättar hur vi får göra i naturen. Läsa gärna mer här: Naturvårdsverket
- Använd sax och klipp försiktigt – om vi drar upp hela växten med rötterna, då kan den inte växa tillbaka.
- Plocka lite här och där så att det finns växter kvar för andra – både människor och djur.
